Human osteoarchaeology: through human anatomic measurement methods and novel technological methods, it studies the ancient human morphology, race, pathology, dietary and other issues using ancient human skeletons as research objects.

Molecular archaeology: using research methods of molecular biology to extract DNA information from ancient human and animal bones, it explores the reproduction relationship of different species or ethnic groups, as well as two other problems, ancient animal migration and the origin of domestic animals.

Animal archaeology: taking the remains of ancient animal bones as research objects, it identifies animal species through observation, measurement, testing and other methods, from which it also analyzes the relation between ancient animal groups, and the evolution of human life and the environment.
